Below are the Disability Sports Australia Brand Guidelines. This document has been created as a guide for how the Disability Sports Australia brand should be used for events, social media, communications, promotions, and other activities. Within the document, correct use of typography, colour and logo usage, both in print and online, can be found.
This document will guide best design standards of practice and is a useful resource to refer to maintain the Disability Sports Australia brand.

International Bowls for the Disabled (IBD) World Championships | Call for Expressions of Interest
Disability Sports Australia (DSA) will be sending a team to the 2020 International Bowls for the Disabled (IBD) World Championships in October in New Zealand.

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Athletes’ Council has published its first strategy which aims to place athletes firmly at the heart of the Paralympic Movement.

On Tuesday, 27 November 2018 the new 2018 Official Wheelchair Basketball Rules were published by the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF).

On Sunday, 28 September 2018, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) published the 2019 List of Prohibited Substances and Methods (List); the 2019 Summary of Major Modifications and Explanatory Notes; and the 2019 Monitoring Program.
Australian Team for the Invictus Games Sydney 2018 announced!
The Minister for Defence, Senator the Hon Marise Payne announced the final Australian team of 72 competitors at the Sydney Opera House on the 15th of June on the steps of the Sydney Opera House.

Australian Chef de Mission named Best Official at International Paralympic Awards
The leadership of Australian Paralympic Team Chef de Mission Kate McLoughlin has been recognised by the International Paralympic movement after she was crowned Best Official from the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.
McLoughlin accepted the highly prestigious honour at the 2017 International Paralympic Awards Gala overnight in Abu Dhabi.
IWRF Asia-Oceania Championship Results
Congratulations to Australia, who have won gold at the IWRF AsiaOceania Championship held in Auckland, New Zealand from August 25-31, 2017. Japan ended up with the silver medal, and have secured a spot at next years IWRF World Championship to be held in Sydney.
Welcome, Bangladesh, to the Wheelchair Rugby family!
Hot steamy conditions welcomed us to the colourful chaos that is Dhaka, Bangladesh in early April. Thanks to funding from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Australia, via support from Disability Sports Australia, the IWRF was able to bring a development clinic to Bangladesh.

Over the next 12 days athletes will compete in 22 sports. To see the schedule for each sport, click the links below. Times listed on each page are local time in Brazil. Australia is 13 hours ahead, so to convert from Brazil time to AEST time (East Coast) simple add 1 hour and swap AM to PM. Alternatively use this time converter to the right.
The IPC selects Dailymotion to live stream Rio 2016 Paralympics
From the 8th of September, Dailymotion will be live broadcasting over 600 hours of video on 15 HD channels of 13 live sports, highlights of all 22 sports and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games on paralympic.org.
2016 Australian Rio Paralympic Team uniform unveiled
The Australian Paralympic Team uniform for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games was officially unveiled today at Sydney’s Doltone House, with 21 Paralympic athletes on hand to model the range.
2016 Invictus Games squad announced
An Australian squad of 40 inspirational athletes is preparing for the 2016 Invictus Games which will be held in Orlando, Florida from 8 to 12 May
Assistant Minister for Defence Michael McCormack said the Invictus Games was an international adaptive sports competition for serving and former serving wounded, injured and ill athletes which provided a vital opportunity to support their rehabilitation and recovery.
