The IPC selects Dailymotion to live stream Rio 2016 Paralympics
From the 8th of September, Dailymotion will be live broadcasting over 600 hours of video on 15 HD channels of 13 live sports, highlights of all 22 sports and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games on paralympic.org.
The live stream will have English commentary and will be available in around 240 territories on Paralympic.org. and in around 190 territories directly from Dailymotion.com/Paralympics. 7two will be the Australian broadcaster on free-to-air TV.
As well as the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, athletics, track cycling, football 5-a-side, football 7-a-side, judo, powerlifting, sitting volleyball, swimming, table tennis, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair fencing, wheelchair rugby and wheelchair tennis will be live streamed. All other sports will feature in the daily highlights which will be streamed at 16:00 and 23:00 BRT each day (5:00am - 12:00pm AEST next day) , as well as two news shows, shown at 03:00 (4:00pm AEST same day) and 10:00 (11:00pm AEST same day) each day.
The IPC will also upload athlete interviews and other original content to the Dailymotion channel.

- Almost 700 hours of video on demand
- Two daily highlights shows broadcast in English
- One daily news show
