Disability Sports Australia Announces Key Promotions in Strategic Restructure

Disability Sports Australia (DSA) is pleased to announce a series of key promotions. This strategic reshuffle aims to enhance the organisation's commitment to improving access, participation, and visibility of disability sport.  

Kristy Rohrer has been promoted to the role of National Participation and Education Manager. In her expanded role, Kristy will oversee the delivery and growth of all participation and education programs at Disability Sports Australia.

Kristy will oversee the participation and education staff. They will deliver national opportunities. Kristy will ensure delivery is cohesive to key partnerships and our mission.  

Additionally, DSA is excited to announce the advancement of two other outstanding team members. Madeline Wood has been appointed as the Business Operations and Integrity Coordinator.

Madeline will lead the development of a positive organisational culture. She will provide strategic administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer. She will ensure seamless operations across administration, reporting, and daily activities. Madeline will uphold best practice standards in integrity, risk management, and compliance systems and policies. 

Max Reilly has been promoted to Community Engagement and Activation Coordinator. Max will implement DSA's brand and marketing strategy focusing on community engagement. He will work with the new Communications Lead to execute initiatives and programs enhancing ports organisations' capability. Max will drive visibility and awareness through community-focused brand activations. His storytelling will further DSA's outreach and impact.

These promotions precede the recruitment of new staff as part of the Play Well Grant. The new funding will support DSA's strategic objectives. It will enhance DSA's capability to deliver high-quality programs and initiatives.  

These promotions underscore DSA’s commitment to recognising and nurturing staff talent. This strategic reshuffle aligns DSA's resources and expertise with its overarching goals. It will ensure DSA remains at the forefront of leadership in the field of disability sports. The organisation is preparing to leverage significant awareness-building opportunities. DSA is confident these changes will drive its mission forward.
