icare - Presenting Partner for Try Para-sport NSW
Disability Sports Australia (DSA) is excited to announce that icare will be a Presenting Partner for the upcoming Bupa Try Para-Sports event in New South Wales.
This free event is set to take place on 19 October 2024, at the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Halls. A collaboration with Paralympics Australia, the event will offer an opportunity for people with disability to start their para-sport journey.
icare is committed to the care and support of individuals who have experienced severe injury, while at work or on the road. This partnership with DSA aligns with both organisations’ goals to promote accessibility and inclusion, encouraging independence and active participation in sports and the community.
Open to people with disabilities aged ten and over, the Bupa Try Para-Sports event will allow attendees to try various local para-sports, make new friends and have fun. Participants will meet Paralympians, and learn about how para-sport classification works. Participants will find information on the right sports for their abilities in a safe and welcoming environment.
