Disabled Water Ski Australia are excited to host this prestigious event, the last occasion being in Townsville, 2007. This will be a memorable event and will help showcase disabled water skiing and its fantastic athletes to the world.
Australian water skiers who have a range of disabilities including arm/leg amputees, paraplegia, and quadriplegia, will all compete, along with the best skiers from around the World, in the Championships.
It is a significant achievement for anyone to represent their country, especially for a disabled athlete. It is also an important motivational tool for other people facing adversity to find a way to achieve their goals.
