Start Up Kidz multi-adaptive sports program postponed due to COVID-19 threat

Disability Sports Australia (DSA) would like to thank all stakeholders for their time over the past week with regards to the threat of the spread of COVID-19.

This is an ever-changing and unpredictable situation and the health and wellbeing of our community is our primary concern. In addition, we wish to do all we can to support initiatives to slow the spread of this disease.

Following detailed risk assessments and consultations that DSA has undertaken, the decision has been formally made to postpone the Start Up Kidz multi-adaptive sports program.

It is our intention to postpone the program, rather than cancel it, as we believe the benefits for children with a disability will be significant. More information about this will be made available soon.

Thank you for your support and understanding in coming to this decision. We look forward to working with you in the lead up to the rescheduled program.

If you wish to discuss this decision further, please contact DSA CEO, Jenni Cole at jenni@sports.org.au or on 02 8736 1220.
