  • Australian Sporting Alliance for People with a Disability (ASAPD)

    This course will inform you about the many options, benefits and impacts of physical activity and how you can help individuals with disability get involved so that they can participate in the community, build their capacity and reach their goals.

    Special Olympics Australia

    The Inclusive Sport Academy provides a user-friendly learning experience for people with intellectual disabilities, teachers, coaches, tertiary students, and allied health professionals to deliver sporting programs for people with intellectual disabilities or autism.

    ASAPD as a key voice in advocating and facilitating inclusive sport and physical activity for people with a disability, impairment, or limitation has a series of resources for officials, administrators, teachers and volunteers.

    Vision Australia

    Play by the Rules provides information, resources, tools and free online training to increase the capacity and capability of administrators, coaches, officials, players, parents and spectators to assist them in preventing and dealing with discrimination, harassment, child safety, inclusion and integrity issues in sport.

    Deaf Sports Australia

    The Active Deaf Sports Club is another sport initiative delivered by Deaf Sports Australia. The aim is to provide mainstream sports organisations the opportunity to integrate inclusion practises for their deaf and hard of hearing sports participants.

    Sport Inclusion Australia assists with the inclusion of people with an intellectual disability into the mainstream community using sport as the medium.

    Transplant Australia

    TA supports transplant recipients and their families; people on the waiting list, donor families, living donors, healthcare professionals and all those touched by organ and tissue donation. TA lead programs which encourage physical activity to increase survival rates in transplant recipients.

    Australian Sports Commission
